YHS70 Reunion 2025

Yorktown Class of 1970, welcome home on Friday June 6 and Saturday June 7!

As promised, our class will again gather here in Arlington, Virginia on June 6-7 to mark our 55th Reunion.

What’s the same? Most of all, we hope many of you who enjoyed our (belated) 50th will rekindle friendships on the weekend of June 6-7. Spouses and partners always welcome.

What’s different? We’re keeping all the fun, but making it even simpler to join us and we hope you will. Here’s the skinny:

Friday, June 6 from 5 pm to 9 pm ET

Drop in, connect for the laughs, enjoy time with friends in The Commentary at the Westin Arlington Gateway – the exact same spot we celebrated our 50th together. We will offer you tasty platters of finger food and appetizers. A cash bar will also be available offering non-alcoholic and adult beverages.

Saturday, June 7 from 11 am to 4 pm ET

If the Wayback Machine still works, do you remember our 10th Class Reunion in 1980? Neither do I, but it’s documented that we held an informal picnic at Barcroft Park located at 4200 South Four Mile Run Drive in Arlington.

This bucolic spot is roughly 10-15 minutes’ drive from the Westin Hotel, and not only offers ample free parking – but a beautiful park and recreation site next to Four Mile Run, with a covered picnic shelter reserved exclusively for our class.

This gathering is entirely free, casual and easy. Bring your own food, drinks, and fun, and we’ll have a few daylight hours (weather permitting) to celebrate the start of summer together.

Intrigued, and want to keep well informed? Why not send Bob Witeck a private message on Facebook, and share your email, and we will keep you up to speed. Thanks!
