IN MEMORIAM

We mourn the recent passing of Ralph C. Oser, the founder of the Alumni & Friends of Yorktown High School, on January 26, 2022 at the age of 75. While not a graduate of Yorktown, Ralph's children attended the school and Ralph felt a deep need to provide a mechanism for building an alumni community for the school similar to what he had experienced with the schools he had attended. A strong support of Yorktown Crew and of reunion activities, this web site and the organization behind it were a direct result of his years of effort. Our condolences go out to his lovely wife Katherine and to his children. We will miss him terribly and are grateful for his years of service to the Yorktown community.
Note: We had a major database crash in the summer of 2020 and lost a number of names that had been added after Janurary 2020. We are gradually working to restore those. If you notice names missing from the lists here, please let us know.
